The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang coupe and convertible have been officially launched on last Thursday, but we are still fascinated by what we see on the legendary pony car. That’s why we want to share with you a live photo gallery that we get from the Ford Media Center.
Ford unveiled its new Mustang in several different cities and countries simultaneously, not only in the United States. The live event was held in Dearborn, New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona (Spain), Sydney (Australia) and Shanghai (China).
The Detroit-based automaker offers three engine options on the 2015 Mustang which includes the all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost, 3.7-liter V6, and a 5.0-liter V8 engine. All three engines are available with standard manual and automatic transmissions. Further details about the engine spec can be seen in the previous article.
The most notable changes in the Mustang are the use of new integral-link independent rear suspension that has been developed specifically for high performance use. Ford says that the geometry, springs, dampers and bushings have been modified specifically for high performance applications. Mustang also receives benefit from the new aluminum rear knuckles that could reduce the unsprung mass; it’s claimed to improve handling.
Meanwhile, the interior receives benefits from the use of high quality materials and some tech features such as MyFord Touch, SYNC, new Shaker Pro audio system, Intelligent Access and Track Apps. There’s no official word on a release date scheduled for the 2015 Ford Mustang.
