Lamborghini has finally been officially revealed the 2015 Huracan LP 610-4 super sports car with full details, specs and release date schedule. The new supercar is scheduled to make its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show to be held next March.

Under the hood, the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is powered by a new 5.2-liter V10 direct-injection engine connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and four-wheel drive system. The powerful V10 engine capable of spewing its maximum output up to 610 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and peak torque reaches up to 413 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm. There is a choice of three different driving modes that can be selected on the steering wheel, including Strada, Sport and Corsa.
According to the Italian based automaker, the new 5.2L V10 engine is more powerful compared to the V10 engine used in the Lamborghini Gallardo, especially in terms of power and torque. In addition, Lamborghini claims that this new Huracan sports car has lower fuel consumption than the Gallardo, CO2 emissions are also lower.
Speaking of performance, the Huracan LP 610-4 only takes 3.2 seconds to sprint from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) before hitting its top speed over 325 km/h. This supercar can also accelerate from 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 9.9 seconds. While its fuel consumption has improved to 12.5 liters/100 km in the European combined cycle with CO2 emissions of just 290 g/km.
Lamborghini says the new engine has passed the Euro 6 emission regulations and fuel consumption can be reduced thanks to the use of Stop/Start technology. The 2015 Huracan LP 610-4 receives benefits from the use of carbon fiber integrated with the aluminum material in its hybrids chassis, thus making its weight reaches 1,422 kg. Huracan chassis is claimed to offer exceptional stiffness with better precision level.
Outside, the new sports car has adopted a revolutionary design language of the Gallardo with a bolder exterior design and sculpted body lines that look sharper. Headlights come with full LED illumination, but LED technology is now offered as a standard feature on the Huracan. The Italian luxury sports carmaker said the standard LED technology has been offered for the first time in this segment.
The Huracan LP 610-4 comes with standard carbon ceramic brakes which are believed to provide outstanding levels of braking consistency. While the optional custom equipment include Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (variable steering ratio system) and magneto-rheologic suspension damper control, this feature will be available as further customization.
Inside the cabin, the interior adopts an innovative cockpit design and is equipped with several special features such as 12.3-inch TFT full-color display, infotainment and navigation systems. The cabin also receives benefits from Nappa and Alcantara leather upholstery combined with several different colors, which makes it look more luxurious with the highest quality elements.
As for release date, the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 is scheduled to be released next spring after the car made its first debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The Italian automaker said that the new luxury super sports car will go into the production line at Lamborghini headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese and first deliveries to customers starting in spring 2014.
