2015 Cadillac Escalade more details released

Late last month, Cadillac has released more details for the 2015 Escalade and Escalade ESV before the new model is scheduled to arrive in U.S. dealerships floor this spring. Cadillac’s new luxury SUV will be available in three trim levels options when it hit the local dealers around March, complete with seven exterior colors option and three different interior shades.

The base model will be equipped with some standard equipment, including 20-inch aluminum wheels, magnetic ride control, adaptive remote starting system and hands-free tailgate. Speaking of features, General Motors offers several standard features on the entry-level models such as LED headlamps, rear-view camera and park assist.

Moving into the cabin, the base 2015 Escalade SUV comes with standard features that include leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery and heated front seats. While the interior features will include CUE infotainment and Bose audio systems, as well as digital instrument cluster.

Further benefits will be available in the mid-level variant or luxury trim, where the SUV will be adding some new equipment that is not offered on the base model such as 22-inch alloy wheels, sunroof, IntelliBeam headlights and color heads-up display. In addition, the luxury variant will also be equipped with the Driver Awareness Package that adds some safety equipment such as forward collision alert, lane departure warning and safety alert seat system.

If that’s not enough, you can choose a premium trim level that will be available as a highest level variant, but you should also consider how much it costs. Some equipment and new features that are not offered on the base and luxurious model will be available at the highest level variant, including the Driver Assist Package, full-speed adaptive cruise control, rear seat multimedia system, illuminated exterior door handles and much more.

As for exterior color choices, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade will come up with the same seven exterior colors as offered on the 2015 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon. This means that GM will offer some of the following colors: Silver Coast Metallic, Crystal Red Tintcoat, Majestic Plum Metallic, Dark Granite Metallic, Radiant Silver Metallic, Black Raven and White Diamond Tricoat.

Depending on the trim options, the new Escalade will be available in three different wheel designs that include 20-inch aluminum with chrome-plated and 22-inch premium-painted plus a chrome touch and you can also order 22-inch premium-painted featuring an ultra-bright machined finish. The interior atmosphere will be divided in three different colors that you can choose at will, including Jet Black, Kona Brown featuring Jet Black Accents and Shale colors with Cocoa Accents.

Fourth-Generation 2015 Cadillac Escalade SUV

The all-new Escalade SUV will come with a 6.2-liter V8 EcoTec3 engine delivering 420 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque. All trim levels will be available with the same EcoTec3 V8 engine. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a standard six-speed automatic gearbox, while the four-wheel drive will only be available as an optional.

2015 Cadillac Escalade Release Date & Price

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is scheduled to go on sale in the U.S. market this spring or around March 2014. Meanwhile, we expect the price tag for this new model will not be too much different from the current model that starts at $67,970 – $83,450.
