Some unofficial photos of the new 2014 Porsche Macan crossover has been leaked to the web ahead of its official debut at the 2013 LA Auto Show to be held on November 22-December 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The four photos uploaded by someone on a Porsche Macan forum at macanownersclub.co.uk.
Talking about its engine specs, the next-gen Macan crossover reportedly will come in two petrol engine options. The first option, Porsche offers a Twin-Turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine capable of spewing up to 340 horsepower. While the second option is a Twin-Turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine with a maximum output reaches 400 horsepower.
But nevertheless, this crossover will apparently share many design styling with the Porsche Cayenne. Even the interior aspect will reportedly have some similarities to its siblings. With the Cayenne styling design, this SUV will feature distinctive design at the rear end, slender taillights and tailgate-mounted spoiler.
The new Macan will also be equipped with LED-infused headlights, curvaceous bodywork and sloping roofline. Inside the cabin, Porsche will probably put some new core features such as 3-spoke steering wheel, new center console, metallic accents, dark trim and new multimedia system.
As for its release date, the 2014 Porsche Macan reportedly will be released next month and will hit U.S. dealers with a starting price of $52,000. However, maybe it’s still a rumor, so it’s better to wait for official information from the LA Auto Show next month.
