After making its public debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS) in last July, today McLaren has officially released their new supercar called the 12C GT Sprint, complete with pricing details.
According to the UK-based automaker, the McLaren 12C GT Sprint will go on sale at base price of £195,000 or around $316,445 at today’s exchange rate. If you’re interested to buy, McLaren is now ready for any buyer orders on this supercar.
The car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and has a maximum output of up to 625 horsepower. Basically, the 12C GT Sprint is developed specifically for use on the race track, that’s why the car is equipped with a recalibrated proactive chassis control system, high-performance braking system + race-specs discs, optimized oiling system and central cooling radiator.
In addition, the supercar also comes with some other standard equipment that includes aggressive front-bumper, center-locking 19-inch wheels wrapped on Pirelli competition-tires, on-board air jacking system and 40mm reduced ride-height. Inside the cabin, you can see the FIA-spec roll cage, fire suppression system and composite racing-seat with 6-point harness.
