If you’re planning to buy the Honda Ridgeline, now the Japanese automaker has offered a special edition for the 2014 model year. Honda says the new model will go on sale at U.S. dealers in November, while the official price for the 2014 Ridgeline SE will start at $37,505.
According to the Japanese company, this special edition has a difference from the regular models such as bespoke 18-inch alloy wheels and rear tailgate with special edition badge. In addition, some special touches that will not be seen in regular models are the black headlight, black honeycomb-grille, black tailgate and brake light-housings.
It’s wrapped in a Sport black trim package that is specifically offered for the top models of the new Ridgeline Special Edition. Honda offers three exterior colors option when the car goes on sale next month, including Crystal Black, Alabaster Silver and Taffeta White. The last choice will be combined with black leather-cabin.
Talking about its engine specs, the 2014 model year is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine which is mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox and uses four-wheel drive configurations as well as powered by the Variable Torque Management System (VTM). Honda says this engine is capable of producing 250 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 247 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm.
The EPA-fuel economy ratings for the 2014 Honda Ridgeline is rated at 15 mpg in the city, 21 mpg on the highway and 17 mpg combined. The most affordable variant has a base MSRP of $29,575 and all Ridgeline models will be available in November. Here’s the official pricing details and photo gallery:
