Japanese automaker Honda has recently announced the official pricing details for the 2014 Civic Tourer, complete with information on fuel consumption and MPG ratings. The new model is scheduled to be available in the UK dealerships in February 2014 but the tap orders will be open from the beginning of next month.
The 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will go on sale in the UK market with an initial price of £20,625 (OTR) for the entry-level model with a 1.8-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine. The entry-level model will be available with two transmission options, manual and automatic. The 1.8L i-VTEC engine can produce up to 142 horsepower and 174 Nm of torque.
Speaking about the mpg ratings, the Civic Tourer 1.8L i-VTEC has an average fuel consumption of 6.2 liters/100 km or equivalent to 45.56 mpg UK combined (37.9 mpg US). Meanwhile, CO2 emissions are rated at 149 g/km.
Next, the diesel version is priced at £21,375 and buyers will get a new 1.6-liter DTEC diesel engine that can develop up to 120 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, allowing the car to sprint from 0-60 mph in 10.1 seconds.
Fuel economy ratings for the diesel version is rated at 74.3 mpg UK combined (61.8 mpg U.S. / average fuel consumption 3.8 liters/100 km), while CO2 emissions reach about 99 g/km. The 2014 Civic Tourer is available in four trim level options when the car arrives in UK dealerships early next year, including S, SE Plus, SR and EX Plus.
The entry-level model “S” is equipped with some standard features that include 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth Hands Free Telephone (HFT), DAB Radio and USB connectivity. While the SE Plus models will get standard 17-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, Rear Adaptive Damper System (ADS), front heated seats, HDD Navi and privacy glass.
